Colouring Competition 2022
WWF-Hong Kong has launched a three-year “Wetland Incubator” project thanks to the generous donation from HSBC. The project aims to form action teams with stakeholders from various sectors. The teams are working on various solutions to protect the future of our wetland.
Eurasian Otter Education Design Team is one of the teams in the project formed by a group of passionate incubators to promote public awareness of local otters and Mai Po wetland conservation. They have designed and will launch a series of otter awarensess raising actions for World Otter Day on the last Wednesday in May.
For our first activity, the team has designed a colouring competition. We would like to invite kindergarten and primary school students to become “little otter painters”, and by using their artistic skills and creativity to add colour to our lovely otters. By doing so, encourage children to learn more about Eurasian otters and care for our wetland ecological environment.
