Christopher Harrocks was appointed Global Head of Banking Financial Resource Management, Credit and Capital Management, Corporate and Institutional Banking, in 2025. Prior to this role, from October 2021, Christopher was Regional Treasurer, Asia Pacific, where he oversaw all Markets Treasury and Asset, Liability and Capital Management activities in the region. Christopher relocated to Hong Kong in January 2014, where he oversaw the Sales and Trading businesses across several of HSBC’s Asia Pacific international markets, and was a member of HSBC Asia Pacific Global Markets ExCo. Before relocating to Hong Kong, Christopher was President and Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bank Peru, prior to which he served in London as HSBC’s Head of Emerging Markets Liquidity Management, EMEA.
